Artist Statement:

My art is a collection of my experiences and lessons I have survived. I want to share with the world around me what I have taken from these instances. I need to enter my input into larger conversations, no matter how others consider these topics too small or unimportant.

I have always loved learning new techniques and exploring new materials.

My subjects and style may change, but I will always approach my work with the goal of enjoyment and a continuously explorative curiosity. Focusing on color and experimenting with different mediums allows me to expand my current skill set. For me, learning new mediums/techniques is akin to learning a new language. Each new medium allows me to expand into an alternative way to continue communicating with my audiences.

I stand before you, broken and repaired a many number of times. I am a walking contradiction, as I hope you are too. For through our faults we find what makes us uniquely special. We live to expand our knowledge of the world we continue to interact with.

I find myself on a voyage of self discovery, and though I haven't always been kind to myself I am resolute to discover what it really means to love ones self.

I want to be my own soulmate, to love myself more than anyone could ever dream. So that I might stop the havoc that has been destroying my barely beating heart.

My Inspiration

I've always been interested in random things, for a long time I thought this was a negative trait. My work will vary from topic / medium.

Though I had let my fear of failure hold me back, I am glad to say my interest in art never faded. I am a 30 yr old college student, looking to expand my skills in art.

Like a true Gemini, I love taking on multiple different projects at a time. As of yet I haven't found a preferable medium nor style, but I am enjoying experiencing new techniques & mediums introduced to me.
